Pentecost

We are Given Power by God's Word and Spirit.

What is Pentecost?

What is Pentecost?

Pentecost is a celebration recounting God’s presence among his people. This holiday is commemorated with a powerful corporate service and a fifty-day countdown to the day of Pentecost. After Jesus’ death and resurrection, the Holy Spirit came down on the people of Israel on the day of Pentecost.

In the same way, we accept the power of the Holy Spirit during Pentecost, and expect God to move in miraculous ways. Through the Spirit, all who trust in Jesus are empowered with heaven’s grace to live in the freedom of Passover, the holiness of Unleavened Bread, and the new life of First Fruits. That power manifests in gifts of the Spirit, miracles, prophesy and more!
